Chris Tremie
Christopher James Tremie (born October 17, 1969) is an American former professional baseball catcher. He began his Major League Baseball (MLB) career in with the Chicago White Sox. After his MLB debut, Tremie had stints with eight minor league teams (Nashville, Reading, Oklahoma, Atlantic City, Newark, Calgary, Round Rock, and New Orleans) and three MLB teams ( Texas Rangers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Houston Astros). Tremie retired in 2005 as a member of the Astros' Triple-A affiliate Round Rock Express. Tremie played NCAA baseball with the University of Houston Cougars. Tremie managed the Gulf Coast Indians (rookie-level affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) to a 21-29 record in 2006. The Columbus Clippers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians.
