Chris Taylor (music Producer)
Chris Taylor (born May 22, 1962), also known by his monikers The Glove and ChrisGlove, is best known as a DJ and producer on the West Coast hip hop scene in the 1980s and 1990s. Taylor is known for his appearance in the film ''Breakin''' alongside Ice-T. Taylor is credited on "Phone Tap" (Nas) as producer. Other production credits include "Reckless" (Ice T & Dave Storrs) "Tibetan Jam" (Chris "the Glove" Taylor) "Go Off" (Ice T & Dave Storrs) "Itchiban Scratch" (Chris "the Glove" Taylor.) AllHipHop is a hip hop news website founded by Greg Watkins and Chuck Creekmur in 1998. History The website was founded in 1998 by Greg Watkins and Chuck Creekmur. In 1997, Watkins registered the allhiphop.com domain to promote the artists on Oblique Recordings, a small record label he operated. The website provided music downloads to promote the label's artists. After reaching 30,000 downloads a month, Watkins struck deals with eMusic and other retailers to sell downloads. Derrick Lemel Stewart (born March 26, 1968), known professionally as Fatlip, is a Los Angeles-born hip hop music, hip hop musician. He started his career in the hip hop group The Pharcyde. Early career The Pharcyde As a member of The Pharcyde, Fatlip contributed to the critically acclaimed ''Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde'' as well as the follow-up release ''Labcabincalifornia''. ''Hell Date'' was a prank, dating show on Black Entertainment Television (BET). The show was created by Peter M. Cohen and produced by Peter M. Cohen Productions. The show presented itself as a typical dating show, such as ''Blind Date'', however it featured actors pretending to be a contestant/participant on the show, and portraying a character, with their goal being to make the date an unpleasant experience. Unbeknownst to one unsuspecting dater, who is not aware of the setup. The show aired for two seasons, with both seasons having slightly different formats, yet the idea was primarily the same.
