Chris Taylor (Grizzly Bear Musician)
Christopher Taylor (born August 29, 1981) is an American multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He is best known as the bass guitarist, backing vocalist and producer of the Brooklyn-based indie rock band Grizzly Bear, with whom he has recorded four studio albums. Taylor also records solo material under the moniker CANT, releasing his debut album, '' Dreams Come True'', in 2011. Acting as Grizzly Bear's regular producer, Taylor has also produced albums for Dirty Projectors, Department of Eagles, Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, Twin Shadow, Kishi Bashi and The Morning Benders. He goes by the nickname 425 when online. Dirty Projectors is an American indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2002. The band is the project of singer-songwriter David Longstreth, who has served as the band's sole constant member throughout numerous line-up changes. Arthur Russell (musician)
Charles Arthur Russell Jr. (May 21, 1951 – April 4, 1992) was an American cellist, composer, producer, singer, and musician from Iowa, whose work spanned a disparate range of styles. After studying contemporary composition and Indian classical music in California, Russell relocated to New York City in the mid-1970s, where he became involved with both Lower Manhattan's avant-garde community and later the city's burgeoning disco scene. His eclectic work spanned many styles, and was often marked by his distinctive voice and adventurous production choices. Russell worked as musical director of the New York avant-garde venue the Kitchen in 1974 and 1975. ''Horn of Plenty'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Grizzly Bear, released on November 9, 2004, by Kanine Records. Primarily a solo album by founding member Edward Droste, the album also features contributions from future drummer Christopher Bear. In 2006, the band released an EP, ''Sorry for the Delay'', featuring tracks recorded during the same time period. In 2005, a collection of remixes, ''Horn of Plenty (The Remixes)'', was released. David Sitek
David Andrew Sitek (born September 6, 1972) is an American musician and record producer, known for his work with his band TV on the Radio. He has also worked with bands such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Liars, Foals, Celebration, Little Dragon, Beady Eye, and Weezer, and produced free jazz-influenced remixes of songs by artists such as Beck and Nine Inch Nails, and has contributed a solo track to the Red Hot Organization ''Dark Was the Night'' charity compilation. He is also a photographer and painter. In April 2008, Sitek was named number one in ''NMEs Future 50 list of the most forward thinking people in music today. David Kyp Joel Malone (born February 27, 1973) is an American multi-instrumentalist and member of the bands TV on the Radio, Iran, Rain Machine, and Ice Balloons. Biography Malone grew up in Moon Township, Pennsylvania and moved to New Jersey for High School. He graduated from North Hunterdon High School in 1991. Malone formed the band Iran with film director/singer/songwriter Aaron Aites in 2000. He later joined Tunde Adebimpe and David Sitek in TV on the Radio on ''Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes'' and has been in the band ever since. He writes, sings and plays instruments for the band. In his lyrics, he uses poetic imagery to address racism, show business, and politics in an indirect manner. Malone is in the band Ice Balloons and is also a member of The Yams Collective.
