Chris Scott (Australian Footballer)
Christopher Michael Scott (born 3 May 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League (AFL) best known for being a dual premiership player with the Brisbane Lions in addition to a dual premiership coach at in 2011 and 2022. He attended St Kevin’s College, Toorak, Melbourne. He has been the coach of the Geelong Football Club from 2011. Playing career Brisbane Bears Chris Scott was picked by the Brisbane Bears in the 1993 AFL Draft with the 12th draft pick and moved to Queensland while still studying at St Kevin's College. He studied at Brisbane Boys' College during his first years as an AFL player. Scott made his AFL debut in 1994 with the Brisbane Bears, taking out the Norwich Rising Star award. Scott became one of the AFL's toughest defensive players, using his strength to outmuscle opposing forwards. Christopher Wilmott Scott (born in Lincolnshire on 23 January 1964) is a first-class cricketer who played for 129 first-class matches for Nottinghamshire and Durham between 1981 and 1996. He was a wicket keeper/batsman who famously dropped Brian Lara on 18 while playing against Warwickshire at Edgbaston in 1994 off the bowling of Simon Brown. Lara, who had earlier been bowled by an Anderson Cummins no-ball, went on to score 501 not out, the highest individual score in first-class cricket history. Scott's fumble cost 483 runs. He scored two centuries of his own during his career, and took 283 catches and completed 17 stumpings. Christopher Ian Scott, OAM (born 29 October 1968) is a former Australian Paralympic cyclist. He has won ten medals at six Games from 1988 to 2008. Personal Scott was born in Gympie, Queensland, with cerebral palsy, as the youngest of three children. and moved to Brisbane with his family when he was two years old. At the age of eight, a soccer coach refused to let him join his team because he could not kick the ball with his right foot as well as he could with his left, a rule not enforced on able-bodied players. He consequently joined the next age group's soccer team so he could play with his brother. Scott attended Salisbury State High School and it was here where he began to participate more in sport and became involved in the Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association. Talulah Gosh were an English guitar-pop group from Oxford, and one of the leading bands of the indiepop movement, taking their name from the headline of an NME interview with Clare Grogan. They supposedly formed in 1986 when Amelia Fletcher and Elizabeth Price, both wearing Pastels badges, met at a club in Oxford.
