Chris Robinson (actor)
Chris Robinson (born November 5, 1938) is an American actor, screenwriter, and film director, sometimes credited as Christopher Robinson. Career Robinson began his career as an actor in the 1950s. Robinson was a young adult actor and stunt man and appeared in such films of the 1950s as ''Diary of a High School Bride'' and '' Beast from Haunted Cave''. In the 1960s, he was cast as Flight Engineer and top turret gunner Sgt. Sandy Komansky on ABC's ''Twelve O'Clock High'' in the last two seasons. In 1972, he got the lead as a fanatical snakecharmer in the horror movie, ''Stanley''. Robinson played Rick Webber #2 on '' General Hospital'' from 1978 to 1986 where he was involved in a triangle with his wife Lesley Webber and the married Monica Quartermaine. Following this role, he joined '' Another World'' in late 1987 where he played the role of Jason Frame and was reunited with Denise Alexander who had played Lesley on "GH". Alan Quartermaine is a fictional character from ''General Hospital'', an American soap opera on the ABC network. Created by head writer Douglas Marland, Stuart Damon first appeared in the role on May 13, 1977. Casting Damon first appeared in the role of Alan Quartermaine on May 13, 1977. After several nominations, in 1999, Damon won his first Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category for his portrayal of Alan during his addiction to the drug Hydrocodone. After 30 years with the series, Damon was reportedly fired from the series and would exit in early 2007. ''Two Faces West'' is an American syndicated TV series set in the Wild West running from October 1960 to July 1961 for a total of 39 half-hour episodes (one per week on a continuous run). It was produced by Donald Gold and Jonas Seinfeld and Matthew Rapf as the on-set producer for Screen Gems. Music was by Joseph Weiss. Despite being syndicated to 150 broadcast stations the show is somewhat forgotten, never having been repeated, and never released on DVD. The overall premise was that two identical male twins, the January brothers, were in different roles in the same locale: one a doctor and one a U.S. Marshal - one killing, one curing.
