Chris Riley (golfer)
Chris J. Riley (born December 8, 1973) is an American professional golfer and coach. Riley was born in San Diego, California. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he became the first four-year All-American in any sport. In 1995 he played for the United States in the Walker Cup. Riley turned professional in 1996 and spent time on the Nationwide Tour. He became a member of the PGA Tour in 1999 and made the top thirty on the money list in 2002 and 2003. His sole PGA Tour victory came at the 2002 Reno-Tahoe Open. He was a member of the losing 2004 United States Ryder Cup team and also played on a winning American team in that year's Tommy Bahama Challenge, which is an international match for pros aged 30 and under. After his Ryder Cup appearance, Riley finished outside of the top 125 on the money list in both 2005 and 2006. Christopher Keith Riley, SDB is an Australians, Australian Catholic Church, Roman Catholic priest. He is a member of the Salesian, Salesian order and the founder and CEO of the charity Youth Off The Streets. On 3 April 2021, the Sydney Morning Herald reported that Father Riley was gravely ill with a variety of ailments. Early years Riley was born in Echuca, Victoria, Echuca, Victoria (Australia), Victoria in 1954 and grew up on a dairy farm in the district. In 1973 he graduated from a school run by the Salesians. He was inspired by the movie ''Boys Town (film), Boys Town'' and went on to train as a teacher. Christopher John Riley (19 January 1939 – 1983) was a Welsh professional footballer who played as a forward for Crewe Alexandra in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Signed from Rhyl in March 1958, aged 19, he made his debut and scored his first goal for Crewe in a 3–1 defeat at Bradford Park Avenue on 15 March 1958.
