Chris Reason
Chris Reason (born 1 October 1965) is a senior reporter and presenter for ''Seven News'' in Sydney, Australia. He was awarded the Graham Perkin Australian Journalist of the Year Award for his coverage of the Lindt Cafe siege in December 2014. Career Reason's career began in 1990, when during his first year at ''Seven News'' he unwittingly covered a segment now infamously known as the Democracy Manifest video, which became an Internet viral video years later. In 2019, ''The Guardian'' called it "perhaps the pre-eminent Australian meme of the past 10 years". In 2002, he was announced as co-host of the re-launched national breakfast program ''Sunrise'' alongside Melissa Doyle. But in September, Reason was diagnosed with cancer and forced to retire from the program while he underwent six months of chemotherapy, surgery and recovery care. He was replaced by David Koch. Testicular Cancer
Testicular cancer is cancer that develops in the testicles, a part of the male reproductive system. Symptoms may include a lump in the testicle, or swelling or pain in the scrotum. Treatment may result in infertility. Risk factors include an undescended testis, family history of the disease, and previous history of testicular cancer. More than 95% are germ cell tumors which are divided into seminomas and nonseminomas. Other types include sex-cord stromal tumors and lymphomas. Diagnosis is typically based on a physical exam, ultrasound, and blood tests. Surgical removal of the testicle with examination under a microscope is then done to determine the type. Testicular cancer is highly treatable and usually curable. Treatment options may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or stem cell transplantation. David Leslie Koch ( ; born 7 March 1956), nicknamed "Kochie" ( ), is an Australian television presenter who is best known as a host of the Seven Network's breakfast program, ''Sunrise''. From Adelaide, he began his media career as a financial journalist, writing for a number of different publications before eventually moving to television. Koch has been the chairman of the Port Adelaide Football Club, an Australian Football League (AFL) club, since October 2012. Mark Beretta (born 16 June 1966) is an Australian journalist, best known as a sports reporter on Seven Network program ''Sunrise''. In July 2008, Beretta began presenting ''Seven Early News'' sport alongside Natalie Barr at 5.30 am, which leads into ''Sunrise'', where he is still the sports presenter. Lindt Cafe Siege
The Lindt Cafe siege was a terrorist attack that occurred on 15–16 December 2014 when a lone gunman, Man Haron Monis, held hostage ten customers and eight employees of a Lindt chocolate café in the APA Building in Martin Place, Sydney, Australia. The Sydney siege led to a 16-hour standoff, after which a gunshot was heard from inside and police officers from the Tactical Operations Unit stormed the café. Hostage Tori Johnson was killed by Monis and hostage Katrina Dawson was killed by a police bullet ricochet in the subsequent raid. Monis was also killed. Three other hostages and a police officer were injured by police gunfire during the raid. Andrew Patrick O'Keefe AM (born 1 October 1971) is an Australian former television presenter and lawyer. ''Deal or No Deal'' was an Australian game show that aired on the Seven Network from 13 July 2003 to 4 October 2013. It was the first international version of the game show, after the original from the Netherlands. It was the first of the versions to use the ''Deal or No Deal'' name. Many changes were made to ''Deal or No Deal'' during its run.
