Chris Pettit
Christopher Michael Pettit (born August 15, 1984) is an American former professional baseball outfielder who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2009 and 2011. Amateur career Pettit was born in Pasadena, California. He attended San Dimas High School, where he graduated from in 2002, after being named both 2002 Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Best Body (male). He attended Loyola Marymount University, and in 2005 he played collegiate summer baseball with the Orleans Cardinals of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Professional career Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Pettit was selected by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 19th round (582nd overall) of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft. The Mexican League (, ) is a professional baseball league based in Mexico and the oldest running professional league in the country. The league has 18 teams organized in two divisions, North and South. Teams play 114 games each season. The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) is a professional independent baseball league based in the United States. It is an official MLB Partner League based in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States. The Bridgeport Bluefish were an American minor league baseball team based in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
