Chris Paisley
Christopher Samuel Paisley (born 24 March 1986) is an English professional golfer currently playing on the European Tour. In January 2018 he had his first win on the tour, the BMW SA Open. Amateur career Paisley played college golf at the University of Tennessee where he won two events. He played on the St Andrews Trophy team in 2008, the Palmer Cup and Walker Cup teams in 2009. He turned professional in 2010. Professional career Paisley won the first two events on the 2011 Alps Tour and started playing on the Challenge Tour the same year. In August he won his third Alps Tour event of the year. In 2012 he had his biggest success so far by winning the English Challenge. His performances on the Challenge Tour gave him a card for the 2013 European Tour season. He had limited success on the 2013 European Tour and returned to the Challenge Tour in 2014. The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship is a European Tour golf tournament held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. When founded in 2006, it was one of three European Tour events to be staged in the Arabian Peninsula, but at one point was one of six. The WGC Invitational was a professional golf tournament that was held in the United States. Established in 1999 as a successor to the World Series of Golf, it was one of three or four annual World Golf Championships (WGC) until 2021, when the number of WGC events was reduced to two. Under sponsorship agreements, the WGC Invitational was titled as the WGC-NEC Invitational (1999–2005) and the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational (2006–2018). During this time, it was hosted at Firestone Country Club in Ohio, except for 2002 when it was hosted at Sahalee Country Club in Washington. The WGC Match Play, currently titled as the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play for sponsorship reasons, is a professional men's golf tournament that has been held since 1999. It is the only one of the World Golf Championships to have been contested using the match play format. Since 2016, it has been held at the Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas, United States. Previous names include WGC-Dell Match Play (2015), WGC-Cadillac Match Play (2014), WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship (2001–2013), and WGC-Andersen Consulting Match Play Championship (1999–2000). Carlos Aguilar (golfer)
Carlos Aguilar (born May 25, 1988) is an American soccer player who is currently an assistant coach at San Diego State University. Career College and amateur Carlos attended Palmdale High School played two years of college soccer at Taft College, where he scored both goals as his team won the 2007 California Collegiate State Soccer Championship, before transferring to the University of California, Irvine in his junior year. He scored six goals and made seven assists UCI in his senior season, and was named to the All-Big West Conference First Team. During his college years Aguilar also played with the Lancaster Rattlers and Bakersfield Brigade in the USL Premier Development League. Professional Undrafted out of college, Aguilar signed with Rochester Rhinos in February 2010. Álvaro Velasco (golfer)
Álvaro Velasco Roca (born 15 May 1981) is a Spanish professional golfer. Velasco was born in Barcelona and attended Coastal Carolina University on a golf scholarship where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He turned professional in 2005 and worked his way through the ranks graduating to the top level European Tour in 2008. Velasco finished 100th on the Order of Merit in 2008, but fell back to the second tier Challenge Tour in 2010 having finished 189th in the Race to Dubai rankings in 2009. He recorded the biggest win of his career at the 2010 Fred Olsen Challenge de España, before trumping this by winning the Kazakhstan Open, the Challenge Tour's biggest event.
