Chris Myers (footballer)
Christopher Myers (born 1 April 1969) is an English former professional footballer who played for clubs including Torquay United and Exeter City. Career Myers began his career with Torquay United, making his debut in 1986 whilst still a trainee. He turned professional in June 1987, but was released after just nine league games. He played for Dawlish Town and then Barnstaple Town until August 1990, but was re-signed by Torquay United. His second spell at the club was more successful, and he was a member of Torquay's promotion winning side in 1991. He was sold to Dundee United for a fee of £100,000 in August 1993, but struggled to establish himself at Tannadice and returned to Torquay on loan in December 1993. On leaving Dundee United in January 1996, Myers joined Wrexham, but left to join Scarborough later that month without appearing for Wrexham. Yeovil
Yeovil ( ) is a town and civil parishes in England, civil parish in the district of South Somerset, England. The population of Yeovil at the last census (2011) was 45,784. More recent estimates show a population of 48,564. It is close to Somerset's southern border with Dorset, from London, south of Bristol, from Sherborne and from Taunton. Western Football League
The Western Football League is a football league in South West England, covering Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, western Dorset, parts of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. The league's current main sponsor is Toolstation, so it is also known as the Toolstation League. Recent restructuring of the English football league system has placed the two divisions, known as the Premier Division and Division One (each a maximum of twenty-two clubs) at the ninth and tenth tiers overall, known as Step 5 and Step 6 of the National League System. Dawlish United F
Dawlish is an English seaside resort town and civil parish in Teignbridge on the south coast of Devon, from the county town of Exeter and from the larger resort of Torquay. Its 2011 population of 11,312 was estimated at 13,355 in 2019. It is to grow further as several housing estates are under construction, mainly in the north and east of the town.
