Chris Lema
Christopher Lema (born August 5, 1996) is an American soccer player who most recently played as a midfielder for USL Championship side San Antonio FC. Career Youth Lema grew up in Ridgefield, New Jersey and played soccer at Ridgefield Memorial High School. He joined the New York Red Bulls Academy in 2010. He attended college at Georgetown University and played on the Hoyas soccer team for four seasons, making 78 appearances, scoring 5 goals and tallying 12 assists. 2015 PDL Season
The 2015 USL Premier Development League season was the 21st season of the PDL and consisted of 63 teams. The regular season began on May 2 and ended on July 19. The Michigan Bucks were the defending champions and posted the best overall record in the League; however, they were defeated by K-W United FC in the Central Conference finals. K-W United went on to win the league championship by defeating the Seattle Sounders FC U-23 1-0 in the semi-finals and in high scoring final they overcame the New York Red Bulls U-23 4-3. 63 clubs competed in the semi-professional soccer leagues. 2020 USL Championship Season
The 2020 USL Championship season was the tenth season of the USL Championship and fourth under Division II sanctioning. This was the second season under the name "USL Championship", having used the name "United Soccer League" through 2018. Real Monarchs were the defending USL Cup champions. The 2020 season saw 35 teams participate in two conferences during the regular season. On November 8, 2019, Ottawa Fury FC announced that it had suspended operations. The team had received sanctioning from its country's governing body, Canada Soccer, but was denied by U.S. Soccer and the continental governing body of CONCACAF.
