Chris Lawson (racing Driver)
Christopher W. Lawson (born November 6, 1985) is an American professional stock car racing crew chief who works for Front Row Motorsports as the crew chief for Zane Smith's No. 38 Ford F-150 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He previously worked with Todd Gilliland in the NASCAR West Series for Bill McAnally Racing, where the duo won two consecutive championships in 2016 and 2017 and twelve races together. Prior to becoming a crew chief, Lawson was a driver for underfunded, start and park teams in NASCAR and ARCA until 2011. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck based stock cars. The series is one of three national divisions of NASCAR, ranking as the third tier behind the second-tier NASCAR Xfinity Series and the top level NASCAR Cup Series. Tanner Shane Gray (born April 15, 1999) is an American professional racing driver who has competed in drag racing and stock car racing. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 15 Toyota Tundra for TRICON Garage. Gray is the youngest professional driver to win a national event in NHRA history, and the youngest driver to win an NHRA season championship. 2019 ARCA Menards Series
The 2019 ARCA Menards Series was the 67th season of the ARCA Menards Series. Christian Eckes of Venturini Motorsports won the championship over teammate Michael Self. Eckes became the first champion since Tim Steele in 1997 to win the title after missing a race during the season. On February 9, 2019, hours before the season-opening Lucas Oil 200, ARCA announced that the series would be renamed to the ARCA Menards Series for at least 2019 and 2020. R3 Motorsports (formerly Richardson Motorsports) was an American professional stock car racing team that last competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series, Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Re/Max Series. The team commonly fielded No. 23 North Texas Pipe Chevrolet Impala driven by Robert Richardson, Jr. part-time in the Nationwide Series. Charles Lewandoski
Charles Lewandoski (born May 18, 1985) is an American professional stock car racing driver. Early career Lewandoski started his career in Quarter Midgets at the age of five, racing at the Little T Speedway and in the Silver City Quarter Midget Club, both in Connecticut. Later, he moved to the Whip City Speedway in Massachusetts, where he competed in various Sprint Car divisions, winning several races in the top-level 600cc Sprint class. At the age of 16, Lewandoski was able to move into the NASCAR Late Model division at his home track, Stafford Motor Speedway. On August 9, 2002, Lewandoski became the youngest-ever winner in the track's history. 2nd Chance Motorsports was a NASCAR team owned by Rick Russell. It ran the No. 79 Ford Mustang in the Nationwide Series. History The team's brief history started when Rick Russell formed his race team in the month of September. After a failed partnership with Specialty Racing, Russell formed his own team. Tim Andrews debuted the team's No. 79 at the fall Dover race with his father Paul Andrews as crew chief. The team made the final five races of the season, but started and parked all of them. Jennifer Jo Cobb (born June 12, 1973) is an American professional stock car racing driver and team owner. She competes part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 10 Chevrolet Silverado for her own team, Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing. She has also competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, ARCA Menards Series, and the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series in the past. Racing career She started racing in 1991 at Lakeside Speedway. Start And Park
Start and park is a term used in auto racing, particularly in NASCAR-sanctioned races, to describe the practice of racing teams starting races but pulling the car off the track after just a few laps in order to collect prize money while avoiding expenses such as replacement tires, engine wear and tear, and hiring a pit crew. The practice has existed due to the relatively high purse for even a back-of-the-pack finish, as well as the high costs of fielding a car for an entire race. While start-and-park entries occasionally act as "field fillers" (a term typically used outside of NASCAR when a small number of teams show up to a racetrack), the practice is criticized in instances when they take spots away from teams intending to run the full race. In some cases, a team will use a start-and-park car to help fund another competitive car in the same or a different series. The 2017 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West was the sixty-fourth season of the K&N Pro Series West, a regional stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR. The 2016 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West was the sixty-third season of the K&N Pro Series West. It began at Irwindale Speedway on March 19 and concluded at All American Speedway on October 15. Chris Eggleston entered the season as the defending drivers' Champion. Todd Gilliland won the championship, thirteen points in front of Ryan Partridge. Gilliland also became the youngest champion in West Series and NASCAR history, winning the title at 16 years and 5 months.
