Chris LaMont
Chris LaMont is a screenwriter, independent filmmaker, and film professor, who co-founded the Phoenix Film Festival in 2000. He has written and co-written several feature films, including ''The Inheritance ', The Locksmith, '' The Au Pair Nightmare'', and '' Hard Kill''. He has also produced and directed several independent films, including ''Film Club'', ''My Apocalypse'', '' Netherbeast Incorporated'', '' The Graves'', '' Justice Served'' and ''Postmarked''. My Apocalypse (film)
''My Apocalypse'' (originally titled ''Quality Time'') is a 2008 independent film starring Corin Nemec, Bruce Weitz, Nancy Allen, John de Lancie, Gail Strickland, Meredith Salenger, and Jesse Harper. Directed and produced by Chris LaMont, the screenplay was written by LaMont, Craig Belanger, and Jay Holben. Although ''My Apocalypse'' was filmed in 1997, it was not released until 2008, due to the funding that LaMont had available to him as an independent filmmaker. With the extensive amount of CGI and digital FX required to make the film meet his specific vision, the digital film revolution gained steam and he was able to complete the film with special visual FX Director Rene de la Fuente. Lance Henriksen
Lance Henriksen (born May 5, 1940) is an American actor. He is known for his works in various science fiction, action and horror films, such as that of Bishop in the ''Alien'' film franchise, and Frank Black in Fox television series ''Millennium'' (1996–1999) and ''The X-Files'' (1999). Marvin Young
Marvin Rex Young (May 11, 1947 – August 21, 1968) was a United States Army soldier and a recipient of the United States military's highest decoration—the Medal of Honor—for his actions in the Vietnam War. Biography Young was born in Alpine, Texas, the youngest of three children born to Marilyn (née Hoskins) and Roy Clinton Young. Young joined the Army from Odessa, Texas in September 1966, and by August 21, 1968, was serving as a Staff Sergeant in Company C, 1st Battalion (Mechanized), 5th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. On that day, while on a reconnaissance mission near Ben Cui, Republic of Vietnam, his platoon came under intense enemy fire. After the platoon leader was killed, Young assumed command and directed the unit's defense. When ordered to withdraw, he rescued several men who were pinned down by enemy fire and unable to move, suffering fatal wounds in the process. Horrorfest
After Dark Horrorfest (also known as "8 Films to Die For") was an annual horror film festival featuring eight independent horror movies, sometimes with "secret" bonus films, all distributed by After Dark Films in the USA. The first HorrorFest was held in 2006. In 2011, Horrorfest was replaced with After Dark Originals, composed of original films from After Dark and not previously acquired ones.
