Chris Hemley
Chris Hemley (born 8 September 1977) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for St Kilda in the Australian Football League (AFL) in 1995. He was recruited from the Geelong Falcons in the TAC Cup with the 13th selection in the 1994 AFL Draft. This draft selection was part of the compensation received by St Kilda for trading Tony Lockett to Sydney. After playing just one game for St Kilda in 1995, he was delisted, but was later recruited by with the 28th selection in the 1998 Rookie Draft. However, he never played another senior AFL game. Hemley was one of the four St Kilda players featured at the start of the 1995 music video Greg! The Stop Sign!! by Australian band TISM. Geelong Falcons
The Geelong Falcons is a youth Australian rules football representative club in the NAB League, the Victorian statewide under-18s competition, Victoria, Australia. The club takes in talented junior players from the Geelong, Colac and Warrnambool regions in order to prepare them for AFL selection. There is an under-15 V-Line cup side and an under-16 side, but the club's main focus is its under-18 side, who play a longer season. In 2007, Jimmy Bartel became the first ex-Falcon to win the AFL Brownlow Medal, for the league's best and fairest player, while Jonathan Brown became the first ex-Falcon to win the Coleman Medal for the most goals in the season. Gary Ablett Jnr also became the first ex-Falcon to win the Leigh Matthews Trophy, for being voted the Most Valuable Player by the AFL Players Association. "Greg! The Stop Sign!!" is a song by Australian alternative rock band TISM. It was released in August 1995 as the third single from the album ''Machiavelli and the Four Seasons'' (1995). The song peaked at number 59 on the ARIA chart and polled at number 10 in the Triple J Hottest 100, 1995. At the ARIA Music Awards of 1996, the song was nominated for the ARIA Award for Best Independent Release. The song is based on a series of speeding advertisements released by the TAC (Victorian road and safety authorities), who are mentioned in the song. The Tasmanian State League (TSL), colloquially known as the "Tasmanian Football League (TFL)" (formerly known as the "Tasmanian Australian National Football League (TANFL)" and several other short-term names) is the highest ranked Australian rules football league in Tasmania, Australia. The Glenorchy District Football Club is an Australian rules football club currently playing in the Tasmanian State League and the Southern Football League in Tasmania, Australia. History The club is nicknamed the Magpies after its black and white playing strip, and was originally known as New Town Football Club (wearing a green and white strip) when it started out as a member of the Tasmanian Football League in 1919. TISM (an acronym of This Is Serious Mum) are a seven-piece anonymous alternative rock band, formed in Melbourne, Australia on 30 December 1982 by vocalist/drummer Humphrey B.
