Chris Hatcher (pitcher)
David Christopher Hatcher (born January 12, 1985) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Florida/Miami Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Oakland Athletics. Career Amateur Hatcher attended Kinston High School in Kinston, North Carolina, where he played catcher and also pitched. After graduation, he was recruited to play baseball for the University of North Carolina Wilmington. As a freshman, he hit .315 in 29 games while also pitching two innings. As a sophomore, he hit .300 with seven homers and 39 RBI and as a junior he hit .348 with seven homers and 55 RBI. Florida Marlins
The Miami Marlins are an American professional baseball team based in Miami. The Marlins compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the National League (NL) East division. The club's home ballpark is LoanDepot Park. The franchise began play as an expansion team in the 1993 season as the Florida Marlins. The Greensboro Grasshoppers are a Minor League Baseball team based in Greensboro, North Carolina. They are members of the South Atlantic League and are the High-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. They play their home games at First National Bank Field, which opened in 2005 and seats 7,499 fans. The team's logo was changed to a Grasshopper prior to the inaugural season at the new ballpark. Daniel John Haren (born September 17, 1980) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Haren played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the St. Louis Cardinals, Oakland Athletics, Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Washington Nationals, Los Angeles Dodgers, Miami Marlins, and Chicago Cubs.
