Christopher Hanson (born 5 August 1985) is an English professional golfer currently playing on the European Tour. Satellite tour career In 2011, Hanson won three times on the PGA EuroPro Tour and topped the Order of Merit (season money leader). This top five finish earned him a spot on the Challenge Tour. 2014 season Hanson qualified for the 2014 Open Championship, but missed the cut. 2015 season At 2015 European Tour qualifying school, Hanson was the last player to earn his 2016 Tour card. 2016 season In the 2016 season, he has played on the European Tour where he was the third day leader at the Trophée Hassan II. In 2016, Hanson also played on the Challenge Tour where he finished tied for fourth at the Challenge de Madrid. He played as a winger for Hibernian, Derby County, Walsall, Portsmouth, Norwich City, Leicester City, Stoke City, Carlisle United and Dunfermline Athletic. Galgorm Castle Northern Ireland Open
The Northern Ireland Open is a golf tournament formerly played on the Challenge Tour. It was played for the first time in June 2010 on the PGA EuroPro Tour at Galgorm Castle Golf Club in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. It now features on the Clutch Pro Tour schedule. History In 2017, the event was changed from 72 holes of stroke play to a "Super 6" style format. The format was similar to that used for the World Super 6 Perth. The main difference was that the 6-hole matches were determined by stroke play rather than match play. It retained the 156-player field, with the cut being made at the top-60 and ties after 36 holes. After 54 holes, the field was cut to a fixed 24. Ties for 24th place were determined by a sudden-death playoff. There were then five six-hole knock-out rounds on the final day. Warren Bennett
Warren Bennett (born 20 August 1971) is an English professional golfer. Career Bennett was born in Ashford, Surrey and is the son of former footballer Peter Bennett. In 1994, he won the Australian Amateur and was the leading amateur at The Open Championship. He turned professional later that year. Bennett failed to win a European Tour card at Qualifying School in either 1994 or 1995, and missed much of 1996 with a twisted vertebrae. In 1998, he headed the second tier Challenge Tour rankings having won five tournaments during the season, increasing his career tally at that level to seven. From 1999 to 2004 he played on the European Tour, winning his only European Tour title at the 1999 Scottish PGA Championship, but he continued to be troubled by injuries.
