Chris Handsor
Chris Handsor (born January 14, 1972) is a Canadian former soccer player who played outdoor and indoor primarily in the USL A-League, National Professional Soccer League, and the Canadian Professional Soccer League. Playing career Handsor began his professional career in the Canadian National Soccer League in 1995 with the St. Catharines Wolves. In his debut season with St. Catharines he would achieve a treble – winning the Umbro Cup, League Championship, and League Playoff Championship. At the conclusion of the season he was awarded the CNSL MVP award. In 1996, he signed with the Charleston Battery of the USISL Pro League. During his tenure with Charleston he failed to feature in a single appearance; resulting in Handsor to return to the CNSL to sign with the Toronto Supra . With Supra he repeated his treble success winning all three trophies throughout the season. Toronto Lynx
Toronto Lynx was a Canadian soccer team based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1997, the team last played in the 2014 season of the Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Great Lakes Division of the Central Conference. The team played its home games at Centennial Park Stadium, where they had played since 2003. The team's colours were white, gold and black. The team had a sister organization, the Toronto Lady Lynx, who played in the women's USL W-League, and also fielded a team in the USL's Super-20 League, a league for players 17 to 20 years of age run under the United Soccer Leagues umbrella. The Calgary Mustangs (formerly the Calgary Storm and Team Calgary) were a soccer team in Calgary, Alberta that played in the semi-professional USL Premier Development League in 2001 and the professional USL A-League from 2002 to 2004. The Vancouver Whitecaps were a Canadian professional soccer club based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Open Canada Cup
The Open Canada Cup was an annual knock-out cup competition in Canadian Soccer. The competition was first held during the 1998 season as the CPSL League Cup. It was organized by the Canadian Soccer League (formerly the Canadian Professional Soccer League) originally as a League Cup for CSL member clubs. After operating the competition for several seasons as an exclusive tournament the league's ownership decided in 2003 to grant accessibility to all Canadian professional and amateur clubs. SC Toronto was a Canadian soccer team, founded in 1994. The team was a member of the Canadian Soccer League, and played its final home games at Lamport Stadium in the city of Toronto, Ontario. The club found success early on since its inception as the Toronto Supra in the Canadian National Soccer League, making the postseason in 1996, and the championship finals in 1997. The National Soccer League was a soccer league in Canada that existed from 1926 to 1997. Teams were primarily based in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
