Chris Grant (basketball)
Chris Grant (born May 9, 1972) is a basketball executive, and was most recently the general manager of the Cleveland Cavaliers. College A native of South Lake Tahoe, California, Grant attended the University of San Diego where the 6'10" center played on the men's varsity basketball team, including a year with former Cavaliers coach Mike Brown. He graduated in 1994 with a degree in psychology, also later earning a master's degree in educational leadership from the University of San Diego. NBA Grant was hired by the Atlanta Hawks immediately following graduate school. He worked there for nine years, holding several different positions and moved up the ranks, culminating with being named vice president of basketball operations and assistant general manager in 2004. Mike Brown (basketball, Born 1970)
Michael Burton Brown (born March 5, 1970) is an American basketball coach who is the head coach for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Brown was previously the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Los Angeles Lakers, and most recently an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors. He is also the head coach of the Nigerian national team. Brown began coaching the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2005. The team reached the 2007 NBA Finals, where they were swept by the San Antonio Spurs. David Griffin (born November 16, 1973) is an American professional basketball executive who is the executive vice president of basketball operations for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Daniel John Willard Ferry (born October 17, 1966) is an American former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and an All-American college player at Duke University. He most recently served as interim general manager of the New Orleans Pelicans. Considered one of the most celebrated basketball players in the United States from the high school graduating class of 1985, Ferry chose to attend Duke University.
