Chris Gerlufsen
Chris Gerlufsen (born September 16, 1976) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach of the San Francisco Dons men's basketball team. He served as the acting head coach for Hawaii during their 2019–20 season while head coach Eran Ganot took a leave of medical absence, compiling an 8–5 record during that period. Early life and college Gerlufsen is a native of Philadelphia, and the son of former University of Massachusetts head coach Ron Gerlufsen. Gerlufsen played at Randolph–Macon College in Ashland, Virginia where he was a guard and a captain on teams that made the NCAA Division III tournament twice. Gerlufsen graduated from Randolph–Macon with a degree in business and economics in 1998. Ashland, Virginia
Ashland is a town in Hanover County, Virginia, United States, located north of Richmond along Interstate 95 and U.S. Route 1. 2019–20 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Season
The 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season began on November 5, 2019. The first tournament was the 2K Sports Classic and the season concluded prematurely on March 12, 2020. The 2020 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was scheduled to end in Atlanta on April 6, 2020, but was ultimately canceled. All other postseason tournaments were canceled as well. Practices officially began in late September. On March 12, 2020, the NCAA announced that all remaining winter and spring championships for both men's and women's sports were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first cancellation in the history of the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. The NCAA did not name an official national champion after the tournament was canceled. Big West Conference
The Big West Conference (BWC) is an American collegiate athletic conference whose member institutions participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. The conference was originally formed on July 1, 1969, as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA), and in 1988 was renamed the Big West Conference. The conference stopped sponsoring college football after the 2000 season. Among the conference's 11 member institutions, 10 are located in California (with 9 located in Southern California alone) and one is located in Hawaii. Florida Gators Men's Basketball
The Florida Gators men's basketball team represents the University of Florida in the sport of basketball. The Gators compete in NCAA Division I's Southeastern Conference (SEC). Home games are played in the O'Connell Center, Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on the university's Gainesville, Florida campus. Todd Raymond Golden ( he, טוד ריימונד גולדן; born July 7, 1985) is an American-Israeli former basketball player and current head coach of the Florida Gators men's basketball team. Early life and education Golden grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, Phoenix, where he graduated from Sunnyslope High School in 2003. Offensive Coordinator
An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. The offensive coordinator is in charge of the team's offensive game plan, and typically calls offensive plays during the game, although some offensive-minded head coaches also handle play-calling. The 2018–19 San Diego Toreros men's basketball team represented the University of San Diego during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Sam Scholl
Samuel Elden Scholl (born November 11, 1977) is an American college basketball coach who is the former head men's basketball coach at the University of San Diego. Playing career Scholl started his playing career at Tacoma Community College for two seasons before transferring to the University of San Diego to complete his playing eligibility under Brad Holland with the San Diego Toreros. Coaching career After graduation, Scholl joined Holland's staff and stayed with the Toreros for seven seasons, where he was part of the team's 2003 NCAA tournament appearance. In 2007, Scholl joined Kerry Keating's staff at Santa Clara, where he stayed until 2015, and was a part of the school's 2011 CIT Championship and 2013 CBI Championship winning squads. Allen Lamont Smith (born October 19, 1975) is an American former college basketball coach, who was most recently an assistant coach at the University of Texas at El Paso for the UTEP Miners men's basketball team. He was previously the head coach at his alma mater University of San Diego, which he left in March 2018. Smith resigned from UTEP in March 2019 after the University of San Diego revealed that Smith was accused of accepting a bribe in the 2019 college admissions bribery scandal.
