Chris Egan (footballer)
Chris Egan (born 26 October 1986) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Career Egan was picked up by Collingwood with their first round draft pick, tenth overall, in the 2004 AFL draft. He had represented Victoria Country in the 2004 AFL National Under 18 Championships. Egan made his debut for Collingwood against Richmond in round 8 of the 2005 AFL season, and only missed two games for the remainder of the year. He played a total of 24 games for 21 goals in 2005 and 2006, but only played three games in the following two seasons before being delisted in September 2008. In early 2010, Egan signed with the Echuca Football Club which plays in the Goulburn Valley Football League. Rumbalara Football Club
The Rumbalara Football Netball Club (Rumbalara FNC), nicknamed Rumba, is an Aboriginal Australian sporting club located in Shepparton, Victoria. The club's teams play Australian Rules Football (in the Murray Football League) since 2006. History The club has its roots in the Cummeragunja Reserve, whose last residents were moved to Rumbalara in 1956. The Rumbalara Football Club debuted in 1997 in second division of the Goulburn Valley Football League and finished fourth. The following year it won the Second division pennant, defeating Alexandra. In 1999 Rumbalara and all the second division clubs seceded from the Goulburn Valley FL and formed the Central Goulburn Football League. The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition. Founded in 1877 as the Footscray Football Club, and based in West Footscray in the old City of Footscray west of Melbourne, the club won nine premierships in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) before gaining admission to the Victorian Football League (which became the AFL in 1990) in 1925. Les Bamblett
Les Bamblett (born 5 August 1963) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne and Footscray in the Victorian Football League (VFL). An Indigenous Australian, Bamblett played as a forward and who won the 1982 Morrish Medal, as the best and fairest player in the VFL Under 19's competition. The following year he made his senior debut, against Collingwood in the opening round of the 1983 VFL season, kicking two goals. He made a further 10 appearances that year. Bamblett trained at Richmond in the 1984 pre-season but they couldn't come to an agreement with Melbourne on a transfer fee. He instead joined West Australian Football League club Claremont for the 1984 season. Clearance issues meant he was unable to play a senior game and upon receiving an offer from Footscray, returned to Victoria during the season.
