Robert Christopher Daniels (born April 19, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Syrian Basketball League club Al Nawair. He played college basketball for Texas A&M–Corpus Christi before starting his professional career in 2008. College career As a four-year player in Texas A&M–Corpus Christi, he played in 114 games, starting 73 where he averaged 12.3 points, 6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 22.9 minutes per game being named Southland Player of the Year and to the All-Southland first-team in his junior season when he averaged 15.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocks leading the Islanders to their first NCAA tournament in history. The Southland Conference, abbreviated as SLC, is a collegiate athletic conference which operates in the South Central United States (specifically Texas and Louisiana). It participates in the NCAA's Division I for all sports; for football, it participates in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The Southland Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year is a basketball award given to the Southland Conference's (SLC) most outstanding player. The award was first given following the conference's inaugural basketball season of 1963–64. Five players have won the award two times: Jerry Rook, Larry Jeffries, Andrew Toney, Ryan Stuart and Thomas Walkup. No player has ever won three times. McNeese has the most all-time winners with eight. The Lebanese Basketball League is the top-tier professional men's basketball league in Lebanon. It is organized annually as a national championship with playoffs and a national cup by the Lebanese Basketball Federation (FLB). Currently, the league consists of 12 teams, of which six are located in Beirut. The most successful club in the history of the league is Al Riyadi who have won a record 16 championships. The 2021 BAL season, also known as BAL Season 1, was the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Magnolia Hotshots for the second-most titles overall. They are one of the most popular teams in the league and the Philippines.
