Chris Christoffersen
Chris Christoffersen (born 13 August 1979) is a retired Danish professional basketball player. He played the majority of his career with Bakken Bears of the Danish Basketligaen. He is a ten-time Danish League champion, having been a stalwart with Bakken in 14 seasons. He has also had stints in Italy, the NBA Development League, Finland, Sweden and Australia. Career In the mid-1990s, Christoffersen moved to the United States to attend Nordhoff High School. At that time, he had only one year of organized basketball under his belt. He then played four years of college basketball for the Oregon Ducks between 1998 and 2002. In 93 career games for Oregon, he averaged 4.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. His professional career began in Italy with Scavolini Pesaro during the 2002–03 season. Center (basketball)
The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. They traditionally play close to the basket in the low post. Centers are valued for their ability to protect their own goal from high-percentage close attempts on defense, while scoring and rebounding with high efficiency on offense. In the 1950s and 1960s, George Mikan and Bill Russell were centerpieces of championship dynasties and defined early prototypical centers. Korisliiga
The Korisliiga is the top-tier professional basketball league in Finland, comprising the top 12 teams of the country. In its current format, each team plays all other teams two times in the regular season, once at home and once away, for a total of 22 regular season games. The top six teams advances continues to upper stage and the bottom six teams plays lower stage after 22 games, 5 games at home and 5 games at away versus all other teams in stage. The best two teams from lower group joins to playoffs with upper group teams. Playoffs are played best of seven format, except the quarter-finals which are played best of 5 format. Södertälje Basketbollklubb, shortly SBBK, is a Swedish basketball club based in Södertälje. The city is located in Eastern Södermanland, 34 km south of Stockholm. Its men's team plays in the Swedish Basketball League (SBL) and has won the national championship 12 times, which makes it the most successful team in Swedish basketball. The team's home arena is the Täljehallen, which has a capacity of 2,000 people. From 1995 until 2020, the men's team was named Södertälje Kings.
