Chorus (2015 Film)
''Chorus'' is a 2015 Canadian drama film written and directed by François Delisle. It was screened in the Panorama section of the 65th Berlin International Film Festival. The film centres on Christophe (Sébastien Ricard) and Irène (Fanny Mallette), a former married couple still struggling to cope with the murder of their son eight years earlier. Plot One afternoon, Hugo, son of Christophe and Irene disappeared, and the life of the married couple would shatter. After 8 years, the searches found nothing, as the two got a divorce, and lived their own lives apart, with Christophe moving to Mexico. François Delisle
François Delisle (born March 22, 1967) is a Canadian film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, editor, actor, and composer. Career Between 1987 and 1990, Delisle directed several experimental short films. Some were selected for various international festivals. In 1991, Delisle came to critics’ attention when he was named best new director of short and medium-length films at the Rendez-Vous du cinéma québécois for his medium-length film ''Beebe-Plain''. In 1994, ''Ruth'', Delisle's first feature film, was named best feature of the year and best screenplay at the Rendez-Vous du cinéma québécois. Pierre Curzi (born February 11, 1946 in Montreal, Quebec) is an actor, screenwriter and politician in Quebec. He is a former Member of the National Assembly of Quebec (MNA) for the riding of Borduas in the Montérégie region south of Montreal. Elected under the Parti Québécois (PQ) banner, he later sat as an independent.
