Choi Yu-jin (figure Skater)
Choi Yu-jin (Hangul: 최유진; born August 12, 2000) is a South Korean figure skater. She is the 2016 Merano Cup silver medalist. Career Choi placed 8th with a score of 136.47 in a Korean domestic competition to select skaters for the ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP). She made her JGP debut in Riga, Latvia, placing 8th with a total score of 141.33 points. In November 2015, she won the junior gold medal at the Golden Bear of Zagreb in Croatia. Choi's first senior international medal, silver, came in November 2016 at the Merano Cup in Italy. Filippa Giordano (born 14 February 1974) is an Italian-born Mexican crossover singer. Biography Giordano was born in Palermo. ''Samson and Delilah'' (french: Samson et Dalila, links=no), Op. 47, is a grand opera in three acts and four scenes by Camille Saint-Saëns to a French libretto by Ferdinand Lemaire. It was first performed in Weimar at the (Grand Ducal) Theater (now the Staatskapelle Weimar) on 2 December 1877 in a German translation. The opera is based on the Biblical tale of Samson and Delilah found in Chapter 16 of the Book of Judges in the Old Testament. It is the only opera by Saint-Saëns that is regularly performed. Habanera (" usic or danceof Havana") is the popular name for "" (; "Love is a rebellious bird"), an aria from Georges Bizet's 1875 opéra comique '' Carmen''. It is the entrance aria of the title character, a mezzo-soprano role, in scene 5 of the first act. Background The score of the aria was adapted from the habanera "El Arreglito ou la Promesse de mariage", by the Spanish musician Sebastián Iradier, first published in 1863, which Bizet thought to be a folk song. David Christian Bongartz (born 4 September 1980), known by his stage name David Garrett, is a German classical and crossover violinist and recording artist. Early life When Garrett was four years old his father purchased a violin for his older brother. The young Garrett took an interest and soon learned to play.
