Chocolat (manga)
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eisaku Kubonouchi and serialized in the magazine Big Comic Spirits. It was adapted into a Japanese television drama in 2003 and a Taiwan television series in 2013. Synopsis Chocolat is a mature comedy series about half-orphan Tatsumi Chiyoko, whose father was caught up in huge debt. Now living with Omugi Matsukichi, an ex-underground king who opened a pastry shop, she gets to know people like Katou Ichigo, an ex-inmate. With people after her father's whereabouts, what will happen to her? Eisaku Kubonouchi
is a Japanese manga artist and character designer. Biography Kubonouchi made his professional career debut in 1986 with the short story ''Okappiki Eiji'' published in the manga magazine '' Shōnen Sunday''. From 1988 to 1991, he worked on his first series, ''Tsurumoku Dokushin Ryō'', which was in 1991 made into a movie with Kōyō Maeda ( ja) in the leading role. His second manga series, ''Watanabe'', was made into a television series in 1993, directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. After a 7-year hiatus, Kubonouchi began '' Chocolat'', a story about a former mob boss, just having been released from the prison, who befriends a 16-year-old girl. ''Chocolat'' was published from October 1999 to September 2003 in ''Big Comic Spirits''. In 2003, the manga was made into a television drama, that lasted 45 episodes. Isao Natsuyagi
was a Japanese film actor. He appeared in more than 100 films from 1963 to 2013. Career In 1960, Natsuyagi began attending the Bungakuza actors school while attending Keio University. He eventually left Keio before graduating and entered the Haiyuza actors school. After graduating in 1966, he joined the Toei studio and made his film debut with ''Hone made shaburu''. His first starring role was in Hideo Gosha's ''Kiba Ōkaminosuke'' (1966).
