Chloe Daniels
Chloe Daniels (born 27 April 2003) is a Canadian rugby sevens and rugby union player currently playing for Queen's University Women's Rugby Team in Ontario, Canada and the Canadian Women's rugby sevens team. Before playing for the university team, Daniels played for the Aurora Barbarians. Daniels attended Sutton District High School, Ontario and Belmont Secondary School in Langford, British Columbia. Daniels was promoted to Canada's senior women's Sevens training program in 2020. Daniels was a part of the Queen's University Gaels team that won the 2021 Molinex Trophy against the University of Ottawa (26–18). In 2022, Daniels represented Canada at the Sevens World Cup in Cape Town. Sutton, Ontario
Sutton is a suburban community located nearly 2 km south of Lake Simcoe in Ontario, Canada. The community was formerly a village but is now part of the Town of Georgina after amalgamation with it and North Gwillimbury in 1971. The Black River runs on the north end of the downtown. 2021–22 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series
The 2021–22 World Rugby Women's Sevens Series was the ninth edition of the global circuit for women's national rugby sevens teams, organised by World Rugby. The ninth edition was meant to be played a year earlier, but the 2021 Series was cancelled due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Australia won the series at the second-last event in Canada, winning four out of the six events on the tour to claim their third World Series title. France, Fiji and Ireland placed second, third and fourth, respectively, which was the best finish achieved by all three teams in the World Series. The World Rugby Women's Sevens Series, is a series of international rugby sevens tournaments for women's national teams run by World Rugby. The inaugural series was held in 2012–13 as the successor to the IRB Women's Sevens Challenge Cup held the previous season. The competition has been sponsored by banking group HSBC since 2015. The series, the women's counterpart to the World Rugby Sevens Series, provides elite-level women's competition between rugby nations. The Fiji women's national rugby sevens team represents Fiji at regional and international sevens tournaments. They have won three Pacific Games gold medals, two Oceania Championships, a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the Summer Olympics.
