Chiu Tzu-tsung () is a Taiwanese politician who has been the Deputy Minister of the Atomic Energy Council of the Republic of China since 2017. Atomic Energy Council
The Atomic Energy Council (AEC; ) is an independent government agency of the Executive Yuan of the Republic of China (Taiwan) which is responsible for atomic safety, development and regulations. It also conducts research and development into atomic technologies. AEC is affiliated with IAEA by special agreements to safeguard the peaceful development of the nuclear energy by the Republic of China government. Hsieh Shou-shing (; born 8 December 1950) is a Taiwanese politician who served as minister of the Atomic Energy Council from 20 May 2016 to his removal from office on 11 January 2023. Academic career Hsieh obtained his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Tatung University, Tatung Institute of Technology in 1973, master's degree in mechanical engineering from National Taiwan University in 1978, master's degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University in the United States (US) in 1980, master's and doctoral degrees in from Ohio State University in the US in 1981 and 1983 respectively. National Tsing Hua University (NTHU; ) is a public research university in Hsinchu City, Taiwan. National Tsing Hua University was first founded in Beijing. Taiwanese People
Taiwanese people may be generally considered the people of Taiwan who share a common culture, ancestry and speak Taiwanese Mandarin, Hokkien, Hakka or indigenous Taiwanese languages as a mother tongue. Taiwanese people may also refer to the indigenous peoples of the areas under the control of the Government of the Republic of China since 1945, including Penghu as well as Kinmen and Matsu Islands that collectively form its streamlined Fujian Province (see Taiwan Area). Wanli District, New Taipei
Wanli District (), known in Basay as Masu, is a rural district on the rocky seacoast in northeastern New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. Wanli is a popular tourist destination and the site of the Cape Yeliu Miocene Formation which features distinctive hoodoo outcrops. The "Queen's Head" outcrop is a Taiwanese icon and serves as an informal trademark for the township.
