Chip Wass
Chip Wass (born 1965) is an American illustrator, designer, and animator whose drawings are noted for their ironic style and trenchant comic wit. His art has appeared, among other places, on Nick at Nite and The Cartoon Network, in ''The New York Times'', ''Entertainment Weekly'', and ''The Washington Post'', and on albums of the Florida ska band, Less Than Jake. He has been a jury member of the AIGA (the professional organization for design) and a board member of the AIGA/NY. Nick at Nite (stylized as nick@nite) is an American nighttime basic cable television channel that broadcasts over the channel space of Nickelodeon. It typically broadcasts Mondays to Thursday nights from 9 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Eastern Time Zone, ET/Pacific Time Zone, PT, Friday nights from 9 p.m. - 6 a.m. ET/PT, Saturday nights from 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. ET/PT, and Sunday nights from 8 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. ET/PT. Less Than Jake is an American ska punk band from Gainesville, Florida, formed in 1992. The band consists of Chris DeMakes (guitars, vocals), Roger Lima (bass, vocals), Matt Yonker (drums), Buddy Schaub (trombone), and Peter "JR" Wasilewski (saxophone). The group released its debut album, ''Pezcore'', in 1995, following a series of independent seven-inch single releases. The band's subsequent two studio albums, ''Losing Streak'' (1996) and ''Hello Rockview'' (1998), were released on major label, Capitol Records, leading to increased exposure. ''Shorty McShorts' Shorts'' was an American animated anthology series, which consisted of 4-/5-minute shorts. It aired from July 28, 2006, to May 25, 2007. Summary The host of the show is Shorty McShorts. His name is often shortened to "Shorty" or "SMS", which appears on the hat that he wears. He also wears blue shorts and is the train conductor for his own Short Line. He appeared in advertisements for the show and in the introduction and conclusion of each short where he also does not appear in any of the shorts. The show takes the form of a Saturday morning cartoon as the shorts that are shown could very well be installments of their own miniseries.
