Chioma Elizabeth Toplis (Born 14 November 1972) is a Nigerian born actress in Nigeria's movie industry (popularly called ''Nollywood''). She made her career debut in 2004 in the movie ''Stolen Bible'' alongside Kate Henshaw but gained prominence when she appeared in a lead role in a 2005 movie ''Trinity'' with several other prominent Nigerian actors She was remanded in prison due to a post she made. Early life Toplis, whose English name is Elizabeth, is a native of Umuahia, the capital city of Abia State, in the South-eastern part of Nigeria. She is related to another Nollywood actor and past President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejike Asiegbu. Kate Henshaw, also known as Kate Henshaw-Nuttall (born 19 July 1971), is a Nigerian actress. In 2008 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the movie ''Stronger than Pain''. Early life Kate Henshaw was born in Cross River State, the oldest of four children. She attended St. Mary private school in Ajele, Lagos for her primary education. Later, she was admitted to the Federal Government Girl College, Calabar for her secondary school education.
