Chiodos
Chiodos (, ) was an American post-hardcore band from Davison, Michigan. Formed in 2001, the group was originally known as “The Light-hearted Carpet Knights” before changing their name to "The Chiodos Bros," the band's name was a tribute to filmmakers Stephen, Charles, and Edward Chiodo, responsible for the film '' Killer Klowns from Outer Space''. Chiodos released their first full-length album, titled ''All's Well That Ends Well'', on July 26, 2005. Their second album, '' Bone Palace Ballet'', was released in North America on September 4, 2007 and debuted at number 5 on the ''Billboard'' 200 Billboard.com - Artist Chart History - Chiodos/ref> and number 1 on the Independent Albums. Craig Owens
Craigery "Craig" Owens (born August 26, 1984) is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist of Chiodos. He has also had an involvement in various projects such as Cinematic Sunrise, The Sound of Animals Fighting, Isles & Glaciers, and Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows. He has recorded as a solo artist, is an established music producer, has written and recorded with the likes of Dr. Dre, and has also acted in the 2012 film '' K-11''. He currently performs under the stage name badXchannels. Bradley Bell (musician)
Clinton Bradley David Bell (born March 18, 1983 in Davison, Michigan), known professionally as Bradley Bell, is an American keyboardist, pianist, synthesist, and backing vocalist, best known for being the keyboardist of post-hardcore band Chiodos, and also for being the keyboardist of pop punk band Cinematic Sunrise until their demise, and the keyboardist of experimental band The Sound of Animals Fighting. He was also in a pop punk band called Still No Sign, where he was the lead vocalist. Chiodos guitarist Pat McManaman was also in this band. Bone Palace Ballet
''Bone Palace Ballet'' is the second album by American post-hardcore band Chiodos, released on September 4, 2007. The album takes its name from a literary work of Charles Bukowski. It was their last album with vocalist Craig Owens and drummer Derrick Frost, until they both rejoined the band in 2012. Following the album's release, it entered the U.S. ''Billboard'' 200 chart at number 5 and the ''Top Independent Albums'' at number 1, selling over 39,000 copies in its first week, making it one of the highest-charting post-hardcore albums to date. By January 2009, the album had sold more than 200,000 copies in the United States alone. On September 4, 2007, Equal Vision Records released an opaque orange vinyl pressing of the album which included the full album on compact disc. It was limited to 2,000 copies. Warner Bros. Brandon Allen Bolmer is an American singer-songwriter, music producer, and visual artist. Musical career Yesterdays Rising (2002–2010) Brandon was the original and only vocalist of Yesterdays Rising, being a founding member along with Richie Ochoa (guitar), Jamie Ethridge (drums), Justin Panno (bass guitar), and Jon Bloom (guitar), who formed in 2002. The group released their first EP, ''Ship of Relations'', in 2003. The band was then signed to Fearless Records in 2004, followed by a full run of Warped Tour. Thomas Erak
Thomas Joseph Erak is an American singer, songwriter, and musician from Mukilteo, Washington, best known as a founding member of the Seattle-based progressive mathcore band, The Fall of Troy and as a member of the band Just Like Vinyl; as well as his recent solo experiment Thomas Erak and The Shoreline. He is a former member of the band Chiodos. Early life and youth career According to Thomas' appearance on the That One Time On Tour podcast, Thomas' father was a touring, for-hire bass player in the 70s and 80s, and helped him get into music as a young child. ''All's Well That Ends Well'' is the debut album by American post-hardcore band Chiodos, released through Equal Vision Records in July 2005. Andrew Tanner Wayne (born May 18, 1988) is an American musician, best known for being the former drummer of Underminded, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, and Chiodos. He has also filled in on drums for Underoath. He is currently the drummer for Swedish Heavy metal music, heavy metal band In Flames. The Fall of Troy is an American rock band from Mukilteo, Washington. The band is a trio consisting of Thomas Erak (guitars, vocals, keyboards), Andrew Forsman (drums, percussion) and Tim Ward (bass, screamed vocals) who was later replaced by Frank Ene following his departure from the band in late 2007. Ene would remain in the band until their initial break-up in 2010, but Ward rejoined the band in Ene's place for their reunion in 2013. Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows (abbreviated as D.R.U.G.S.) formed in 2010, is an American post-hardcore band from Pontiac, Michigan, United States. They released their debut self-titled album on February 22, 2011. The band were stylized as a ''supergroup'' before their break up in 2012. Isles & Glaciers was an American post-hardcore supergroup formed in 2008. They recorded material for their debut EP, '' The Hearts of Lonely People'' December 3–13, 2008 in Seattle, Washington and again in April 2009. It was produced by Casey Bates, and was released on March 9, 2010. Even though vocalist Craig Owens stated that the group will not be collaborating or releasing new material again, Vic Fuentes stated that the band may release more material in the future. History Isles & Glaciers was first rumored to exist after Craig Owens (Chiodos, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows) and Jonny Craig (Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa) performed a show in Lexington, Kentucky on August 30, 2008. Cinematic Sunrise
Cinematic Sunrise was a pop punk American band signed to Equal Vision Records. It consisted of Craig Owens (vocals) and Bradley Bell (piano), along with Bryan Beeler (guitar), Marcus VanKirk (bass), Nick Martin (guitar), and Dave Shapiro (drums). History Owens and Beeler have been members of Cinematic Sunrise since its formation in Spring 2005. Beeler also played in the group Class of '83; drummer Dave Shapiro was previously in Count the Stars, Vankirk was in the group Radio Pirate DJ, and Nick Martin is part of both Underminded and Isles & Glaciers. Yesterdays Rising
Yesterdays Rising was an American post-hardcore band from Murrieta, California, in Riverside County, United States. History Yesterdays Rising formed in 2002 and self-released their first EP (Ship of Relations) in 2003. The group signed to Fearless Records in 2004 and released a second EP (When We Speak, We Breathe) following it up with a run on the Vans Warped Tour 2004. With all of them still attending high school, they were said to have been one of the youngest bands to ever travel with the Warped Tour.
