The China Conservatory of Music () is a public music academy in Chaoyang, Beijing, China. The music conservatory was established in 1964, and currently co-funded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Beijing Municipal People's Government. The China Conservatory is generally regarded as one of the leading institutions for the study of traditional Chinese music and traditional Chinese musical instruments, and it also has strong programs in music education research and other fields. She performs on the Chinese guzheng, an ancient zither with twenty-one strings, as well as sings. She currently resides in Nashville. Gong Linna (; born 1 August 1975) is a Chinese fusion singer. Her style is one which combines the traditional "lightness" and "ch'i" of centuries-old melodies with new lyrics. Dadon (Zla sgron), name Dadon Dawa Dolma (born in Tibet in 1968) is a Tibetan singer and actress. In 1985, she obtained a music degree at Music Department of Central Institute for Minorities in Beijing. In 1988, she studied voice at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing. Representing Tibet at national Chinese music competitions in 1988 and 1990, she won a silver medal each time. She made five albums in Tibet.
