Chinemelu Elonu
Chinemelu D. Elonu Jr. (born March 11, 1987) is a Nigerian-American professional basketball player for Al-Jahra of the Kuwaiti Division I Basketball League. He played college basketball for Texas A&M. High school career Elonu attended Alief Elsik High School where he averaged 15.0 points per game as a senior, helping the team to a 33–5 record while posting career highs of 21 points and 20 rebounds. He was ranked as the No. 48 power forward in the country by Scout.com. College career Elonu played at Texas A&M University, where he played with the Aggies, from 2006 to 2009. In his junior and final season, he averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds per game. He graduated from the school in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Leadership and Development. The Liga Española de Baloncesto, also known as LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the FEB. The Liga Española de Baloncesto is divided into two categories (the other one is the LEB Plata). The LEB league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. It was renamed LEB Oro in 2007.
