Chinaplas () is an Asian trade show for the plastics and rubber industries. History Chinaplas is currently the largest international trade fair for the plastics and rubber in Asia and the second largest in the world after K Fair, Germany. The exhibition was founded in 1983. Chinaplas has become a sourcing and networking platform for the plastics and rubber industries and has contributed to their development. The plastics industry manufactures polymer materials—commonly called plastics—and offers services in plastics important to a range of industries, including packaging, building and construction, electronics, aerospace, and transportation. A trade fair, also known as trade show, trade exhibition, or trade exposition, is an exhibition organized so that companies in a specific industry can showcase and demonstrate their latest products and services, meet with industry partners and customers, study activities of rivals, and examine recent market trends and opportunities.
