China National Football B Team
China B is a secondary football team run occasionally as support for the China national football team. History Before Joining FIFA, the Chinese national football team's main duty was to play friendlies with friendly countries. Sometimes a B team was created when the national team was occupied elsewhere. There was no obvious age or skill difference between the A and B teams. In 1957, the national white team was defeated by the national red team and lost the ticket to Melbourne. After the defeat, the national white team was regarded as the national B team before relegating to a regional team, the Tianjin Football Team. More B teams were created from time and time since. Coaches include Zhang Jingtian, Ha Zengguang, Fang Renqiu and Chen Fulai, Chinese Football Association organised a China B team in 1981 with the name of ''China Hope'' in order to provide more international experiences for the young talents of the league. The Chinese Football Association (CFA) is the governing body for association football, beach soccer and futsal in People's Republic of China (Mainland China). The CFA organizes the men's and women's national teams and administers the country's professional leagues as well as organizing the national knockout cup competition Chinese FA Cup. As members of East Asian Football Federation its national teams are eligible for the East Asian Football Championship and the country's membership in AFC allows teams to participate in that organizations club and national team competitions. China is also a member of FIFA and is therefore eligible to play in the World Cup. Michelangelo Rampulla (born 10 August 1962) is an Italian football manager and former player who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Patti, Sicily, Rampulla initially had short stints with Sicilian amateur clubs, such as his local team Pattese; he later also played for Cesena, where he competed for a starting spot with fellow future Serie A goalkeepers Sebastiano Rossi and Alberto Fontana. After three seasons at Varese, Rampulla joined Cremonese in 1985 and became a protagonist in the club's rise to the Serie A league. Massimiliano Maddaloni (born 22 June 1966) is an Italian manager and former footballer who played predominantly as a midfielder, most recently in charge as the head coach of Serie C club Siena. Playing career A midfielder, Maddaloni's playing career was short-lived and mostly spent in the Serie C league.
