China Youth University For Political Sciences
China Youth University of Political Studies () is a university in Beijing, established in 1985 by the Communist Youth League of China. Since then the university has been affiliated with the league, and the leader (First Secretary) of the league usually holds the presidency of the university. Hu Jintao, the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party and President of China, was once the president of this university. The university's campus is located in Xisanhuan Bei Lu (West 3rd Ring Northern Road) in Beijing. History The university grew from the Central School of the Communist Youth League of China () which was founded in 1948. Originally, it described an attitude toward study and research. Hu Yaobang
Hu Yaobang (; 20 November 1915 – 15 April 1989) was a high-ranking official of the People's Republic of China. He held the top office of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from 1981 to 1987, first as Chairman from 1981 to 1982, then as General Secretary from 1982 to 1987. Hu joined the CCP in the 1930s, and rose to prominence as a comrade of Deng Xiaoping. During the Cultural Revolution (1966–1976), Hu was purged, recalled, and purged again by Mao Zedong. Lu Hao (; born 21 June 1967) is a Chinese politician, serving as party branch secretary of Development Research Center of the State Council since June 2022. Hu Chunhua
Hu Chunhua (; born 1 April 1963) is a Chinese politician, a former member of the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and a Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China in Premier Li Keqiang's Cabinet. Song Defu (; February 1946 – September 13, 2007) was a Chinese politician, best known for his terms as the First Secretary of the Communist Youth League, Minister of Personnel, and the Communist Party Secretary of Fujian province. Han Ying (born 29 April 1983 as ) is a female table tennis player representing Germany since 2010.
