Chimbu Devan is an Indian film director also known as a writer, cartoonist, and screenwriter. His films mostly explore the fantasy and historical genres and also comedy. He debuted with the historical comedy-drama film Imsai Arasan 23 M Pulikesi. Career Deven started his career as an assistant director on Cheran's 2000 film ''Vetri Kodi Kattu''. His first independent direction opportunity came from S Pictures with the 2006 film ''Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikecei''. When the plot was pitched to director S. Shankar, the latter was interested and agreed to collaborate with Deven. His second film was the 2008 fantasy comedy ''Arai En 305-il Kadavul'', which starred Santhanam and Ganja Karuppu as the leads. ''Victim – Who is next?'' is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language anthology thriller streaming series consisting of four short films directed by Chimbu Devan, M. Rajesh, Pa.Ranjith, and Venkat Prabhu. It is jointly produced by Venkat Prabhu and G. Dillibabu, under ''Black Ticket Company'' and ''Axess Film Factory''. The film stars Nassar Thambi Ramaiah Priya Bavani shankar, Kalaiarasan, Guru Somasundaram, Prasanna and Amala Paul. The music was composed by Sam C S, Premgi, Ganesh Sekar, and Tenma. ''Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum'' () is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language magic realism comedy film written and directed by Chimbu Deven, starring Arulnithi, Bindu Madhavi, Ashrita Shetty and Bagavathi Perumal. ''Arai En 305-il Kadavul'' () is a 2008 Tamil-language fantasy comedy film directed by Chimbu Deven, who earlier directed ''Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikecei'', starring Vadivelu. A remake of the 2003 Hollywood film '' Bruce Almighty'', the film stars Prakash Raj, Santhanam alongside Ganja Karuppu, Jyothirmayi, and Madhumitha. An ensemble supporting cast including Sampath Raj, Madhan Bob, Rajesh, M. S. Bhaskar, Periyar Dasan, and Ilavarasu appears in supporting roles. The movie is produced by Shankar's S Pictures. Arulnithi Tamilarasu (born 21 July 1987) is an Indian actor best known for playing the lead roles in ''Vamsam'', directed by Pandiraj, Mouna Guru, and Demonte Colony. Devi Sri Prasad (; born 2 August 1979) is an Indian film composer, lyricist, singer-songwriter and performer.
