Chim Chim's Badass Revenge
''Chim Chim's Badass Revenge'' is the fifth full-length album and concept album from alternative rock band Fishbone. It was Fishbone's first studio album in three years following the departure of founding members Kendall Jones and Chris Dowd and the band being dropped by Sony Records. It was also their last album with founding member Philip "Fish" Fisher, who would eventually leave the band two years later. The band's recent experiences prompted the album's themes of racism and music industry practices, and ''Chim Chim's Badass Revenge'' includes some of the band's heaviest songs, such as the hardcore punk title track, "Riot" and "Psychologically Overcast" (the latter featuring guest vocals by Busta Rhymes). The album was produced by Dallas Austin, who said he wanted to take Fishbone to the next level as Rick Rubin had done with Red Hot Chili Peppers. N'Dea Davenport (born September 22, 1966) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and producer. Myrna Crenshaw Brown (July 6, 1959 – April 1, 2007), best known as Screechy Peach, was an American singer and songwriter. Initially the lead singer of Whild Peach, alongside her husband, guitarist David Whild, she would acquire fame in the 1990s due to her collaboration with such artists as Outkast and Macy Gray. Angelo Moore
Angelo Carmen Christopher Moore (born November 5, 1965) is an American musician, best known for his work as lead singer and saxophonist for the Los Angeles ska and funk metal band Fishbone. Moore also performs and records under the stage name Dr. Madd Vibe. Biography Moore grew up in Southern California's San Fernando Valley and attended Hale Junior High School in Woodland Hills, where he met the other members of Fishbone's original lineup. Moore's father played saxophone for Count Basie, and his parents exposed him to jazz, soul and funk music. He then attended El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills. ''Amoeba Cleansing Syndrome'' is the second studio album from American R&B singer Joi. The album was set to be released in 1996, under EMI Records and promotional CD's was released to radio stations. EMI soon delayed ''Amoeba Cleansing Syndrome'' set for a later release in 1997, for more songs with commercial appeal. By 1997, the album was planned for release, as "Ghetto Superstar" was to be first single. Abruptly, EMI Records was shut down, and the album was shelved. The producer of the ''"Amoeba"'' album was Dallas Austin, who arranged for funk rock band Fishbone to be the backing band. Dallas's company FreeWorld Records acquired the rights to release the album. FreeWorld Records released two different promotional EPs for radio with a selection of songs from the album. Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s.
