The Estadio Jesús Martínez "Palillo" is a multi-use stadium located in the Magdalena Mixhuca Sports City in Mexico City. It is currently the home of the Mexicas of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA) and Guerreros de Xico of the Serie B de México. The stadium has a capacity of 6,000 seated spectators. History The Estadio Municipal (Municipal Stadium) opened in 1964. In 1983, it was named after Mexican actor and comedian Jesús Martínez "Palillo" in recognition of his contributions to the original construction of the Sports City. Benito Juárez (), is a borough (''demarcación territorial'') in Mexico City. The Liga TDP is Mexico's fourth tier in the Mexican League System. The Liga TDP is divided into 17 groups. For the 2009/2010 season, the format of the tournament has been reorganized to a home and away format, which all teams will play in their respective group. Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes (English: “Sports City Stadium”; formerly Estadio Azul) is a 33,000-seat stadium located in Ciudad de los Deportes, Mexico City.
