Chiethu Airport
Kohima Chiethu Airport is a greenfield airport currently under construction at Chiethu, 25 kilometres north of Kohima, the capital of Nagaland in India. It will operate as a second airport for Nagaland with the existing Dimapur Airport continuing to operate. Airports Authority Of India
The Airports Authority of India, or AAI, is a public sector enterprise under the ownership of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. It is responsible for creating, upgrading, maintaining, and managing civil aviation infrastructure in India. It provides Communication Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) services over Indian airspace and adjoining oceanic areas. Kohima
Kohima (; Angami Naga: ''Kewhira'' ()), is the capital of the Northeastern Indian state of Nagaland. With a resident population of almost 100,000, it is the second largest city in the state. Dimapur Airport
Dimapur Airport is a domestic airport serving Chümoukedima–Dimapur and its neighbouring areas. It is located between the districts of Chümoukedima and Dimapur, from where National Highway 29 (formerly NH-39) passes just beside the airport. It is the only airport in the state of Nagaland. The terminal building can handle 500 departing and 300 arriving passengers, and was built during World War II. There are plans for expansion of the airport to meet international norms by acquiring land at Aoyimti Village.
