Chieffy Caligdong
Emelio "Chieffy" Asada Caligdong (born September 28, 1982) is a Filipino football head coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of the Ontario Development League Boys under-15 team, and also an assistant coach for North Mississauga SC's under-13 team. Caligdong played as a left winger for the Philippines national team, of which he is a former captain. At the club level, he played for Philippine Air Force and Green Archers United of the United Football League. At that time, he was also an enlisted member of the Philippine Air Force. After retiring, he coached Green Archers United, the Philippines' youth teams, and the Perpetual Altas. Early life Emelio Asada Caligdong was born on 28 September 1982. in Pototan, Iloilo. Pototan ( krj, Banwa ka Pototan, hil, Banwa sang Pototan, tgl, Bayan ng Pototan), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Iloilo, Philippines. UST Growling Tigers Men's Basketball
The UST Growling Tigers basketball is the intercollegiate men's basketball program of the University of Santo Tomas. The school has won 19 basketball titles including one in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). They are one of the winningest teams in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) with 18 championships, the last coming in 2006 during Pido Jarencio's rookie year of coaching. The 2012 AFC Challenge Cup qualification phase saw eight teams advance to the final tournament in Nepal. The qualification draw was held on 20 October 2010, in AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 2005 AFF U-23 Youth Championship was the first ever edition of the AFF U-23 Youth Championship, organised by ASEAN Football Federation. The tournament was held from 29 August to 7 September in Bangkok, Thailand. 2005 Southeast Asian Games
The 2005 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 23rd Southeast Asian Games, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held in Manila, Philippines. This was the third time the Philippines hosted the games and its first time since 1991 Southeast Asian Games, 1991. Previously, Philippines also staged the games for the first time in 1981 Southeast Asian Games, 1981. Around 5336 athletes from 11 participating nations participated at the games which featured 443 events in 40 sports. The games was held from 27 November to 5 December 2005, although several events had commenced from 20 November 2005. The ASEAN Football Federation Championship (less formally the AFF Championship or AFF Cup), currently known as the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup for sponsorship reason, is the primary association football tournament organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF).
