"Chicken Fried" is a song by American country music group Zac Brown Band, which frontman Zac Brown co-wrote with Wyatt Durrette. The song was first recorded in 2003 for the 2005 album ''Home Grown''. A second version was then released in 2006 by the Lost Trailers, whose version was released as a single but withdrawn from radio. Two years later, the Zac Brown Band re-recorded the song and released it as the first single from their album '' The Foundation''. In late 2008, it became their first chart single, as well as their first number-one hit on the ''Billboard'' country charts. The song was featured in the 2008 film '' Witless Protection''. BNA Records, formerly known as BNA Entertainment, was a label group that shared ties with Arista Nashville and RCA Nashville from parent company Sony Music Nashville, which itself is a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment. ''Billboard'' magazine each year releases a Top Hot 100 songs of the year, counted from the first week of November to the final week in October. For 2009, the chart was published on December 11. The 2009 list was dominated by The Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga, who shared the top four spots. KNCI (105.1 FM, "New Country 105.1") is a commercial radio station in Sacramento, California, United States. The station is owned by Salt Lake City–based Bonneville International. KNCI carries a country music format, alongside a classic country format known as ''The Ranch'' and a "Young Country" format known as "The Wolf" on HD Radio subchannels.
