Chick Autry (AL Baseball Player)
Martin Gordon Autry (March 5, 1903 – January 26, 1950) was a backup catcher in Major League Baseball who played between and for the New York Yankees (1924), Cleveland Indians (1926–28) and Chicago White Sox (1929–30). Listed at , 180 lb., Autry batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Martindale, Texas. In a six-season career, Autry was a .245 hitter (68-for-277) with two home runs and 33 RBI in 120 games, including 21 runs, 17 doubles and three triples. In 96 catching appearances, he posted a .965 fielding percentage with just 12 errors in 268 chances. Autry managed in minor league baseball from 1937–42 and 1947–49, including six years at the helm of the Savannah Indians. Catcher is a Baseball positions, position in baseball and softball. When a Batter (baseball), batter takes their at bat, turn to hit, the catcher crouches behind home plate, in front of the (home plate, home) Umpire (baseball), umpire, and receives the ball from the pitcher. In addition to this primary duty, the catcher is also called upon to master many other skills in order to field the position well. Heart Attack
A myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when blood flow decreases or stops to the coronary artery of the heart, causing damage to the heart muscle. The most common symptom is chest pain or discomfort which may travel into the shoulder, arm, back, neck or jaw. Often it occurs in the center or left side of the chest and lasts for more than a few minutes. The discomfort may occasionally feel like heartburn. Other symptoms may include shortness of breath, nausea, feeling faint, a cold sweat or feeling tired. About 30% of people have atypical symptoms. The Beaumont Exporters was the predominant name of a minor league baseball team located in Beaumont, Texas that played between 1920 and 1957 in the Texas League and the Big State League. Beaumont rejoined the Class AA Texas League (1983-1986) and evolved into today's Northwest Arkansas Naturals. Savannah Indians
The Savannah Pathfinders was the original name of the American minor league baseball franchise that represented Savannah, Georgia, during the 20th century. While Savannah's minor league teams sported at least ten nicknames during the century, the predominant nickname was the Savannah Indians, which was used for 27 seasons (1906–1912; 1926–1928; 1936–1942; 1946–1954; 1970).
