Chi-Chi (Dragon Ball)
Chi-Chi, sometimes written as Chi Chi, is a fictional character from the ''Dragon Ball'' media franchise. Created by Akira Toriyama, she first appears in Chapter #11 of the ''Dragon Ball'' manga entitled "...And into the Fire!". Typically portrayed as the fiery wife of series protagonist Son Goku and the overprotective mother of Son Gohan and Son Goten, Chi-Chi is considered to be one of the most prominent female characters in the franchise, and is featured consistently in merchandise and in cosplay by the ''Dragon Ball'' fandom. Development Chi-Chi is known by different names in other language localizations of the ''Dragon Ball'' anime adaptation. Piña Colada
The piña colada (; es, piña , "pineapple", and , "strained") is a cocktail made with rum, cream of coconut or coconut milk, and pineapple juice, usually served either blended or shaken with ice. It may be garnished with either a pineapple wedge, maraschino cherry, or both. There are two versions of the drink, both originating in Puerto Rico. Etymology The name ''piña colada'' (Spanish) literally means "strained pineapple", a reference to the freshly pressed and strained pineapple juice used in the drink's preparation. History The earliest known story states that in the 19th century, Puerto Rican pirate Roberto Cofresí, to boost his crew's morale, gave them a beverage or cocktail that contained coconut, pineapple and white rum. Chi Chi (; September 1954 – 22 July 1972) was a well-known female giant panda at London Zoo in England. Chi Chi was not London Zoo's first giant panda; Ming was one of four that arrived in 1938. However, it was Chi Chi who became the Zoo's star attraction and England's best-loved zoo animal. Chi Chi is now a stuffed exhibit at the Natural History Museum in London. Life Chi Chi was born in the wild in Sichuan, China. She was caught in May 1955 in Baoxing, Sichuan, and moved to the Beijing Zoo in June. In May 1957, Kliment Voroshilov made a request for a panda for the Moscow Zoo during his visit to China, and she was sent to Moscow with another panda in the same month. Jiji () or Chichi is an urban township located in the west central portion of Nantou County, Taiwan. Jiji is the smallest of Taiwan's townships by area. The township is a popular destination on the Jiji Railway Line. In March 2012, it was named one of the ''Top 10 Small Tourist Towns'' by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan. History Han Chinese from Zhangzhou began arriving in the area in 1771. The name originates from "Chiv-Chiv", a phrase in the Formosan languages.
