The Chicago Red Bears were an International Fight League team based in Chicago, Illinois. Coached by mixed martial artist Igor Zinoviev, the Red Bears were one of four teams established at the beginning of the 2007 season. The International Fight League was an American mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion billed as the world's first MMA league. It was founded on January 7, 2006, and closed on July 31, 2008.Zuffa Purchases IFL

Timothy Fred Kennedy (born September 1, 1979) is a retired American mixed martial artist and current soldier. Travis Jon Fulton (May 29, 1977 – July 10, 2021) was an American mixed martial artist and a professional boxer in the heavyweight division of both sports. Mike Corey
Mike Corey (born March 8, 1984) is an American former mixed martial artist. A professional from 2005 until 2014, he fought in the IFL and the World Series of Fighting. Biography A high-school wrestler, Corey joined the Marines and started MMA training while stationed in California, and won several Grapplers Quest tournaments. Homer Moore (born November 12, 1971) is an American former professional mixed martial artist who competed as a Light Heavyweight for the UFC, WEC, and Chicago Red Bears of the IFL Background Moore won the 1992 National Junior College Athletic Association NJCAA Collegiate Championship effortlessly. Quad City Silverbacks
The Quad Cities Silverbacks was an International Fight League team based in the Quad Cities region of the United States. Coached by former UFC Welterweight Champion and founder of the very successful Miletich Fighting Systems camp, Pat Miletich, the Silverbacks were one of four teams competing in the IFL's inaugural season. The Silverbacks are two time IFL World Team Champions. In the 2007 season the Silverbacks suffered their first lost (to the LA Anacondas) and had to struggle to get the final spot in the 2007 playoffs.
