Chicago Mustangs (2012–present)
The Chicago Mustangs are an American professional indoor soccer team based at the Now Arena in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. They play in the Eastern Conference of the Major Arena Soccer League 2 (M2). They are also competing outdoors as members of the Midwest Premier League History The Mustangs were originally awarded an expansion franchise in the Professional Arena Soccer League on September 25, 2012. The team was originally coached by Narciso "Chicho" Cuevas until he was replaced on the bench late in the 2012–13 season by team owner Armando Gamboa. The Mustangs won the PASL Championship in the 2013–14 season. They were undefeated in the regular season, setting a PASL record of 202 goals in a season. They earned the right to host the Final Four of the Ron Newman Cup playoffs, which they also claimed. Juan de la Cruz or Maria de la Cruz (feminized form) is the national personification of the Philippines, often used to represent the " Filipino everyman." He is usually depicted wearing the native '' salakot'' hat, '' Barong Tagalog'', long pants, and ''tsinelas'' (local term for the popular flip-flops). History Juan dela Cruz was invented by Robert McCulloch-Dick, the editor and publisher of ''Philippines Free Press'', founded in 1908. Mansa Sulayman ( ar, منسا سليمان, Mansā Sulaymān; ) was mansa of the Mali Empire during the middle of the 14th century. He was the brother of Mansa Musa and succeeded Musa's son Magha as mansa. As mansa, Sulayman continued the diplomatic relations with the Marinid Sultanate that had been initiated by his brother. Luis Alonso Sandoval Oliva (born 27 September 1981) is a Mexican former professional footballer. Career Sandoval started his professional career with Chivas Guadalajara in 2002, but playing more as a winger, a style he still uses as a striker. He was sold to Jaguares due to Chivas' frequent uprising of young players, but rumored disciplinary trouble.
