The sixth season of ''Chicago Med'', an American medical drama television series with executive producer Dick Wolf, and producers Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Peter Jankowski, Andrew Schneider and Diane Frolov, was ordered on February 27, 2020. The season premiered on November 11, 2020. This season marks the final appearances of paediatric attending Natalie Manning portrayed by Torrey DeVitto and staff nurse April Sexton portrayed by Yaya DaCosta. ''Chicago Med'' is an American medical drama television series created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead, and is the third installment of Wolf Entertainment's ''Chicago'' franchise. The series premiered on NBC on November 17, 2015. ''Chicago Med'' follows the emergency department (ED) doctors and nurses of the fictional Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. On February 27, 2020, NBC renewed the series for a sixth, seventh, and eighth season. The sixth season premiered on November 11, 2020. The seventh season premiered on September 22, 2021.
