Lisa Chiao Chiao, often credited as Chiao Chiao (; born Chiao Li-na (焦莉娜); 6 March 1943), is a Taiwanese film actress best known for her work in Hong Kong cinema. Background Born in Chongqing, on 6 March 1943, Her family moved to Taiwan in 1949. She took up acting in 1961. In 1963, Chiao married Huang Tsung-hsing, the following year Huang left for British Hong Kong, Hong Kong to join the Shaw Brothers Studio while Chiao remained in Taiwan to continue acting. In 1966 Huang got into a car accident and Chiao moved to Hong Kong to look after him. There Chiao was invited to join the Shaw Brothers Studio, when she acted in the ''One-Armed Swordsman'' alongside Jimmy Wang Yu, which met with an unexpected success. Leroy Chiao
Leroy Chiao (born August 28, 1960) is an American chemical engineer, retired NASA astronaut, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and engineering consultant. Chiao flew on three Space Shuttle flights, and was the commander of Expedition 10, where he lived on board the International Space Station from October 13, 2004 to April 24, 2005. He is also a co-author and researcher for the Advanced Diagnostic Ultrasound in Microgravity project. Early life Chiao was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised in Danville, California. Roy Chiao (16 March 1927 – 15 April 1999) was a Hong Kong actor, most notable in the United States for playing the minor villain Lao Che in the 1984 movie ''Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom''. Biography Chiao was born in Shanghai in 1927. His father was a supporter of Sun Yat-sen and was part of the Chinese Revolution. During the Korean War, Chiao went to Taiwan. He joined the United States Army at some stage, and with him being fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Shanghainese, and English, he was a broadcaster and interpreter for the army. Joanne Tseng Chih-chiao (; born 17 November 1988) is a Taiwanese actress, singer and television host. Early life Tseng was born on 17 November 1988 in Jianshi, Hsinchu, Taiwan.
