The Chester Hill Rhinos were a rugby league team based in the suburb of Chester Hill, New South Wales, Chester Hill in Sydney's south-west. From 2007 to 2009 the club fielded a side in the semi-professional NSWRL Jim Beam Cup competition in NSW, Australia. They folded in 2009. Their colours were blue, gold and white. History Chester Hill was admitted to the NSWRL Jim Beam Cup for the 2007 season and adopted the Rhino moniker for the side. They folded the team in 2009. Terry Lamb Complex
The Terry Lamb Complex is a series of grass sporting fields located on the corner of Waldron and Miller Roads, , Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The complex is the home ground of the Chester Hill Hornets who compete in the Canterbury-Bankstown District Junior Rugby League competition. The complex was renamed in 1986 in honour of Terry Lamb who played for the Hornets as a junior. It is also the home ground of the Chester Hill Youth Cricket Club who compete in the Bankstown District Cricket Association competition. The complex incorporates two grounds known as Abbott Park (for rugby league) and Frank Bamfield Oval (for cricket). The Terry Lamb Complex has an enclosed football field that is fenced off, a cricket oval, two cricket nets, two canteen facilities, four dressing room facilities, referees room, function room and a car park. New South Wales Cup
The NSW Cup, currently known as the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a rugby league competition for clubs in New South Wales. The competition has a history dating back to the NSWRFL's origins in 1908, starting off as a reserve grade competition, and is now the premier open age competition in the state. The NSW Cup was the Reserve Grade/Presidents Cup/First Division from 1908 until 2002, and the NSWRL Premier League from 2003 to 2007, the NSW Cup from 2008 to 2015, the Intrust Super Premiership NSW from 2016 to 2018, the Canterbury Cup NSW from 2019 to 2020. The Ron Massey Cup (formerly known as the Bundaberg Red Cup and Jim Beam Cup) is a semi-professional development level rugby league competition in New South Wales (NSW), Australia, run jointly by the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) and the Country Rugby League of New South Wales (CRL). The competition is run concurrently with the National Rugby League (NRL). It currently comprises 13 teams drawn from the Sydney metropolitan area. The competition is named after Ron Massey, a former rugby league coach. Ron Massey died 19 September 2016. The competition is an expanded version of the former Metropolitan Cup and Second Division competitions. The competition was renamed the Bundaberg Red Cup after the 2008 season (the last Jim Beam Cup season), after Bundaberg replaced former sponsor Jim Beam. Chester Hill, a suburb of the City of Canterbury-Bankstown local government area, is located 19 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, and is part of Western Sydney, Chester Hill shares the postcode of 2162 with the neighbouring suburb of Sefton. Corey Payne
Corey Payne (born 7 May 1984 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. Payne played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, the St George Illawarra Dragons and the Wests Tigers. He also represented NSW City. Payne primarily played at lock. Playing career He played his junior football with the Chester Hill Hornets. Payne made his NRL debut in round 1 of the 2005 NRL season, scoring a try against Canterbury-Bankstown. He played in the club's preliminary final defeat against the Wests Tigers during the same season. Late in 2009, it was announced that Payne had signed for the 2010 NRL season with Canterbury, where he had played in lower grades. St George Illawarra Dragons
The St. George Illawarra Dragons is an Australian professional rugby league football club, representing both the Illawarra and St George regions of New South Wales. The club has competed in the National Rugby League since 1999 after a joint-venture was formed between the St. George Dragons (est. 1921) and the Illawarra Steelers (est. 1982). They officially formed as the game's first joint-venture club on 23 September 1998 and it remains the only inter-city team in the NRL. Wests Tigers
The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional Rugby league, rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. They have competed in the National Rugby League since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Belmore, a suburb in the Canterbury-Bankstown region of Sydney. They compete in the NRL Telstra Premiership, as well as competitions facilitated by the New South Wales Rugby League, including the Canterbury Cup NSW, the Jersey Flegg Cup, Harvey Norman Women's Premiership, Tarsha Gale Cup, S.
