Cherry Pie
Cherry pie is a pie baked with a cherry filling. Traditionally, cherry pie is made with sour cherries rather than sweet cherries. Morello cherries are one of the most common kinds of cherry used, but other varieties such as the black cherry may also be used. Cherry pie is associated with Europe and North America and is mentioned in the lyrics of American folk songs such as "Billy Boy". ''Cherry Pie'' is the second studio album by American glam metal band Warrant, released September 11, 1990. The album is the band's best-known and highest-selling release and peaked at number 7 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The album featured the top 40 hits " Cherry Pie" and "I Saw Red". Production and marketing ''Cherry Pie'' was released on September 11, 1990, through Columbia Records. Like its predecessor, ''Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich'', it was recorded at The Enterprise in Burbank, California. It is rumored that Erik Turner and Joey Allen did not play on the album and that all guitar work had been performed by ex-Streets guitarist and session musician Mike Slamer. The rumor has never been verified, although Slamer's wife confirmed in 1998 that her husband played guitar on the record. "Cherry Pie" is a song by the American glam metal band Warrant. It was released in September 1990, as the lead single from the album of the same name. It preceded the album's release by three days. The song became a Top Ten hit on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, reaching number 10 and also reached number 19 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks. The song has been cited by many as a "hair metal" anthem. Background and writing "Cherry Pie" was a very late inclusion on the band's second album, originally the album was going to be called ''Uncle Tom's Cabin''. The president of Columbia Records, Don Ienner, wanted a rock anthem, so he called frontman Jani Lane (according to Lane, he wanted a song reminiscent of Aerosmith's "Love in an Elevator"), who wrote the song in about fifteen minutes. ''Diamond Life'' is the debut studio album by English band Sade, released in the United Kingdom on 16 July 1984 by Epic Records and in the United States on 27 February 1985 by Portrait Records. After studying fashion design, and later modelling, Sade Adu began backup-singing with British band Pride. During this time Adu and three of the original members of "Pride"—Paul Anthony Cook, Paul Denman and Stuart Matthewman—left the group to form their own band called Sade. After various demos and performances, Sade received interest from record labels and signed to Epic. Recording for the album began in 1983 at Power Plant Studios in London and took six weeks to complete. CherryPy
CherryPy is an object-oriented web application framework using the Python programming language. It is designed for rapid development of web applications by wrapping the HTTP protocol but stays at a low level and does not offer much more than what is defined in RFC 7231. CherryPy can be a web server itself or one can launch it via any WSGI compatible environment. It does not deal with tasks such as templating for output rendering or backend access. The framework is extensible with filters, which are called at defined points in the request/response processing.
