Caesars (band)
Caesars were a Swedish indie rock band from Stockholm, formed in 1995. In their native country, the band was originally known as Caesars Palace, a name which was changed to avoid conflicting with the name of the Las Vegas hotel. In the rest of Scandinavia they are known as Twelve Caesars. Career Outside of Sweden, the band are best known for the song "Jerk It Out", which was originally featured in the snowboarding video ''Afterbang'' in 2002, as well as the Electronic Arts video games ''SSX 3'' and ''FIFA Football 2004'', and on the PlayStation 2 game ''LMA Manager 2005''. Noise rock (sometimes called noise punk) is a noise music, noise-oriented style of experimental rock that spun off from punk rock in the 1980s. Drawing on movements such as minimal music, minimalism, industrial music, and New York hardcore, artists indulge in extreme levels of distortion through the use of electric guitars and, less frequently, electronic instrumentation, either to provide percussive sounds or to contribute to the overall arrangement. Klas Åhlund
Klas Frans Åhlund (born 11 April 1972) is a Swedish songwriter, record producer, and guitarist. He is the founding member of the Swedish rock band Teddybears. As a songwriter and producer, he has worked with artists such as Robyn, Sugababes, Jordin Sparks, Teddybears, Eagle-Eye Cherry, Kesha, Kylie Minogue, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Britney Spears, Melody Club, Katy Perry, Madonna, and Ghost. "Punkrocker" is a song written and originally performed by the Swedish electronic/alternative group Teddybears. The song first appeared on their 2000 album ''Rock’n’Roll Highschool'', and was covered later that year by Caesar's Palace (later known as Caesars), a band which also includes Teddybears member Joakim Åhlund.
